Welcome to Old Leake Medical Centre!
We are a purpose built medical centre in the heart of Old Leake. The surgery is all on one level with wide doors and corridors with easy access for wheelchair users. There is a practice wheelchair for patient use in the waiting room.
We are a training practice and supervise Registrars for between 4 and 12 months at a time. GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who are doing additional training to become General Practitioners. Please help with their training by agreeing to see them.
Old Leake Medical Centre is also a Research Ready Practice and is actively involved in research activities. Research is important as it is the only way that new advances in medicine can emerge to better care for everyone. We work closely with the Primary Care Research Network, which is part of the NHS National Institute for Health Research (NHR) and the UK clinical Research Network (UKCRN), which are both Governmental bodies. All the research the practice is involved with has been approved by the NHS.
