Oxfam International Woman's day we raised £106 by wearing pink
We have recently been blessed that both Julie L and Sabrina have been expecting their first Grandchildren and what better way to raise a little bit than a 'Guess the Baby Weight' competition to raise funds for the special baby care unit at Pilgrim Hospital. This raised £30 for the charity.
The staff and patients of Old Leake Medical Centre are passionate about supporting both local and national charities.
November 18th was the BBC's Children in Need day. All the staff wore something spotty and raised £112.84.
In 2011 OLMC also raised...
- £30 for MacMillan by baking cakes and selling slices to members of staff
- £60 for Breast Cancer Campaign by wearing pink
- £30.27 for the Royal British Legion by selling poppies at reception
